About WPTL

Wyndham Park Tool Library is a community-led initiative of Wyndham Park Community Centre and is supported by both Wyndham City Council and Sustainability Victoria.

By joining the library you can have access to hundreds of tools and useful items for a small annual subscription fee.

We are located at Wyndham Park Community Shed, 57a Kookaburra Avenue, Werribee, 3030. We are currently open Wednesday 10am-1pm, and will open after hours/weekends as well later this year.

We loan out a wide variety of both new and old tools – garden tools, woodworking and carpentry tools, artist tools, construction tools, camping equipment and more.

Our goal is to help our local community achieve more with less. Reducing waste and consumption and therefore contributing to a more sustainable future. We aim to provide the right, quality tool for the right job so you can do a quality job at home.

Did you know the average drill only gets used for 13 minutes in its lifetime? Let’s change that! Join the Tool Library and realise your DIY dreams without breaking the budget. Your subscription fee will go back into running your local tool library.

act local

It takes a lot of people with great skills to make a tool library work. We are looking for librarians, event hosts, trade experts, tool gurus and all-rounders.

If you are interested in volunteering locally for a cause which builds community, reduces waste and increases connection then give us a shout!

Support Wyndham Park Tool Library

Most of the tools we stock have been donated by people no longer using them. This means there’s less stuff going to landfill and less demand for purchasing more stuff that people may only use a couple of times.

There’s many ways you can support Wyndham’s only Tool Library besides membership and volunteering. Donate your tools or make a cash donation below
